During the period my Mother, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law were suffering from terminal cancer and observing those in similar situations. I noticed their loss of dignity, self-esteem and independence. I then became involved in caring for the three family members mentioned. It was during this time that I decided that one day I would like to help those in need of care.
I started working as a live in carer for Castle Care Wessex in April 2008 and have found their training, advice backup and help exceptional, they are always there for me when I need them.
As a live in carer I have found the work very satisfying and rewarding.I get a lot of pleasure knowing that I am helping clients live a life at home as normal as possible, with their dignity, self esteem and independence.
I find that clients very appreciative of what I do for them. It is a pleasure to work with them.
